Munich was founded in 1158, and now it is Bavaria’s biggest city with around 1.4 million inhabitants. This tour will lead you to the most famous tourist attractions of Bavaria’s metropolis along with some interesting anecdotes about the city’s history.

We will travel from the Karlsplatz via the neo-baroque Palace of Justice (Justizpalast) to the Old Botanic Garden, followed by Munich’s well-known plazas: the Königsplatz, the Maximiliansplatz, the Promenadenplatz, the Wittelsbacher Platz, the Odeonsplatz, the Max-Joseph-Platz. We will visit the world’s most famous beer hall, the Hofbräuhaus, as well as the former imperial residence Alter Hof and the Marienplatz with its famous Glockenspiel in the New Town Hall.

We will pass the Deutsches Museum, traverse the Gärtnerplatz and cross the Isar. Our tour terminates at the cemetery in Bogenhausen where many famous Munich citizens have been laid to rest.
